We hadn't planned this leg of the trip to the same extent as we did the last leg so we didn't have prior reservations for each night. So we drove from Moscow, Idaho west to Portland, Oregon and then south to Medford, Oregon where we decided we'd had enough driving for one day and stopped for the night.
As we were leaving the next morning Momma found a 60's hippie van that we scouted out for a little while.
Apparently, Oregon State Law states that you are not allowed to pump your own gas. We noticed this in Portland when an attendant came up to the car and helped us, but we thought it was just that one gas station. Turns out, no. So, we saw this sign as we were leaving Medford, we discussed it, and promptly disregarded it and proceeded to pump our own gas. As we were replacing the nozzle an attendant came up and asked us if we needed help. We said no, we were good. He then told us about the law and we felt pretty dumb for not picking up on this at the prior gas stations, and for not taking the posted sign into consideration.

We also found the Medford Oregon Temple on our way out of town.
