Arrival

Momma and I have arrived in Florida!! We met in Phoenix and then continued on to Ft. Lauderdale. 

Momma got to LAX before TSA was there.

Whereas I was the first passenger in the Southwest terminal at SLC.

But we found each other in Phoenix. There was a little drama on the flight; 30 minutes into the flight the flight attendants announce over the speaker for all medically trained personal, doctor or nurse, to please go to the front of the plane. Not the best announcement to hear in the air and we were worried we would have to land. Fortunately the passenger was able to continue on and we arrived in Ft. Lauderdale on schedule. 

We picked up our rental car and then headed south on US 1. We did hit the evening rush hour through Miami but we were able to get from the airport to the hotel in Key West in 5 hours. 

We were pretty tired when we got here so we quickly got settled in and hit the sheets so we could be well rested for our adventure at Fort Jefferson!
