Right along the road from Rapid City to Salt Lake City is another church history site. The Martin handcart company stayed here during their trek across the plains.
The visitor's center is still a working ranch with animals and cowboys. But they also have youth conference treks out here in the summer. As bad as my trek was, this would have been so much worse.
