Tourist

And, because I am a tourist...


"Mind the gap" really is written every few feet along every platform at every station of every line. And, in case it's too crowded and you can't see the ground, a helpful announcer comes on the loudspeaker and says it repeatedly. Just so you don't forget.

  1. So maybe I'm just missing something obvious, here. What's the Gap? Is there some open space on the road somewhere that pedestrians need to step over? Or is the UK trying to promote upscale, stylish clothing? I'm so confused...
