Last night was the musical "Billy Elliot" in the cultural package. Absolutely brilliant. I knew nothing about the plot going in to the theatre but there is not much that is more impressive than a 12 year old Scots-boy singing, acting, dancing, tap dancing, balleting, and leading a West End production. Plus the British humor is not something you can get anywhere else, nor is the attacking of their politicians (the opening number after intermission was called "Merry Christmas, Maggie Thatcher." Make of that what you will).
